As Bigmike says the power of the blowhole is the strongest when it's medium to high tide coming in (as opposed to the tide retreating, and it is the fluctuation of the ocean swell that can really create the intense pressure and blow it to the sky. I have been numerous times over the course of a few decades and have happened to visit when it was blowing strong and high and also when it was subdued nevertheless don't let this prevent you from visiting.

If they have the walkers with the seats it would be ideal. It is a relatively flat walk.There are some steps at the end newar the blowhole.
