It is a beautiful place with a lot to see. Sadly the gift shop and cafe were shut. The cactus green house is a site to behold. A lot were unique I thought. Full review by mikeA5579VA

A lovely way to spend an afternoon at the International Peace Gardens. Many wonderful surprises greeted us along the way in the park spaces. We were especially impressed with the Cacti & Succulents… Full review by SaltyKansan
What are the current, up-to-date, requirements to visit the International Peace Garden? Specifically from the Canadian side? Does the new ArriveCAN app need to be utilized? Can Canadians still visit if they don't have a Passport?
A:
Hi, Linda - as a US citizen, I can’t speak to how it would work for a Canadian. We needed our passports to re-enter the US after visiting the park.
Hello there, There's probably no answer to this but if you don't shoot, you don't score. I live in thunder Bay Ontario and I don't drive. Would you know of any buses that travel there?
A:

Other than someone (personal) taking you I would maybe check with Greyhound Bus services. I believe they are in Thunder Bay. They may not be running at this time but it might be worth checking for future reference. Best wishes and enjoy the gardens if you get there.
A group of South African seasonal workers (H2A visas) would like to visit the International Peace Gardens. They will have their passports and will not enter Canada. Will this be an issue due to visa restrictions?
A:
Are they coming from North Dakota? If they are entering the Peace Garden from North Dakota this should not be an issue. If you are coming from Canada this will not be an option …
Are they coming from North Dakota? If they are entering the Peace Garden from North Dakota this should not be an issue. If you are coming from Canada this will not be an option with quarantine related rules after departure. But just to make sure I would recommend you call customs at the Dunseith Port of Entry. Their number is 701-263-4460
Hi, when entering the peace garden can you get in with an official copy of your passport or does it need to be the original document?
A:
Hmmm...that's a good question. That's beyond what we can advise on and you should call and ask the customs agents at the port of entry. The phone number is 701-263-4460.
Hi, My family and I are planning on coming up at the end of June. We were wondering if you were open for visitors. Also, three of us have passports or ids for driving into Canada, but our 18 year old only has her drivers permit and our 14 year old has no identification. I was wondering what we would need for them to visit. Thank you for your time.

Yes we are open. We’d love to have you. We have camping, hiking, beauty gardens and more. Adults need. Passports are perfect. For kids their birth certificate is the necessary form of identification if they don’t have passports. At this time the Canadian border is not open for travel. You will only be able to come into the Peace Garden, but your passports and or birth certificates will be necessary when exiting because you do return through US customs. We look forward to your visit.
