It was unfortunately completely crowded. I suppose the interest is to see turtles, but you have to be ready to be very near other families and people to do so. Full review by Liliemg

Yes, people can park overnight & camp no problem. Or just park overnight. Watch the weather. If heavy rain, road will fill up with water & mud.

We had rented a car for our stay so I am not sure of the cost if too expensive there must be a public beach in Lihue somewhere. When in Hawaii go swimming!! Good Luck
