Tesla unveiled upgraded versions of its Model S and Model X electric vehicles late Thursday that will reportedly cost $5,000 more than current iterations.

Tesla said on Thursday it upgraded its Model S and Model X cars in the U.S. and raised their prices by $5,000, according to the electric vehicle maker's post on X and its website. Prices were hiked for all configurations of the two models by $5,

Tesla on Friday announced updates to both its Model S sedan and Model X SUV. The company explained the changes on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) and nowhere else. Both models saw an immediate $5,000 price increase for all trim levels.
