Houston’s C.J. Stroud is out with a concussion after hitting his head hard on the ground at the end of a run in the second quarter Sunday against Denver.
Stroud was forced to exit the game in the first quarter after hitting his head on the field. The Texans QB was tackled as he slid after scrambling down the middle for a six-yard gain. Stroud was not able to return, and it was later revealed that he had been placed under the NFL’s concussion protocol.
CJ Stroud Foundation’s Instagram Stories shared a post by his mother Kimberly that said, “CJ is ok, thank you for your prayers.”
