Clooney, who directed the 2005 film version, plays journalist Edward R. Murrow in the play, his Broadway debut

"Good Night, and Good Luck" originated as a 2005 film starring George Clooney, David Strathairn, Patricia Clarkson and Robert Downey Jr. The film tells the story of broadcast journalist Edward R. Murrow's mission to challenge Senator Joseph McCarthy.

In taking "Good Night, and Good Luck" from Broadway to our living rooms, Clooney returns, once again, to the medium that made him a star - and that he still believes can make an impact.
