RALEIGH, N.C. — New Jersey Devils defensemen Luke Hughes and Brenden Dillon will miss Game 2 on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes after sustaining injuries in Sunday’s 4-1 loss. Cody Glass, who also left Game 1 with an injury, is healthy and will play.

Luke Hughes was injured in the third period of Game 1 of the New Jersey Devils series against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Devils coach Sheldon Keefe did not provide insight or updates for Hughes’ and Glass’ injuries after the game. He said Dillon, who suffered his injury during the second period, tried to return, but team doctors held him out for “precautionary reasons.”
