Dallas Cowboys "dart throw" Trey Lance might end his stint with America's Team having just one start during his tenure. Traded for a fourth-round pick in a deal with the Cowboys from the San Francisco 49ers,

Lance played on two FCS championship teams at North Dakota State and was named the 2020 FCS Championship Game MVP, but he started only 17 games in his three years with the Bison. He finished his college career with a perfect 17-0 record, 2,947 yards passing, 30 touchdowns, and one interception. On the ground, Lance added 1,325 yards and 18 scores.

Sunday was the first time Lance saw significant snaps since landing in Dallas ahead of the 2023 season. In August 2023, the Cowboys sent a 2024 fourth-round draft pick to the 49ers for Lance. San Francisco originally selected the quarterback at No. 3 overall in 2021.
