Clarkson, the "American Idol" star who shared two children with Blackstock, had just announced she was stepping away from concerts to support her family.

Clarkson, who shared custody of 11-year-old daughter River and 9-year-old son Remington (“Remy”) with Blackstock, announced on Wednesday (Aug. 6) that she would be postponing her Las Vegas residency, citing Blackstock’s illness and her “need to be fully present” for her children.
