Kelly Clarkson's ex husband and father of her two children, Brandon Blackstock, has died, and the family's loss makes their last Instagram posts even sadder.

The singer and television host said Wednesday night on Instagram that she needs "to be fully present" for her children.

Clarkson had announced late Wednesday night that she was postponing the August dates of her Vegas residency because Blackstock "had been ill."
