Chris Eubank Jr was 'touch and go' in hospital after his points decision victory against Conor Benn, according to his father. The 35-year-old said he spent two nights in the Royal London ward following his victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening (26 April).

The two collided in a middleweight bout on Saturday night in front of 62,000 fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. After 12 rounds of fighting, Eubank Jr. won a unanimous decision over Benn, earning 116-112 scores on all three judges' scorecards.

Despite the size difference, Benn came out fearlessly in the opening rounds, using angles and footwork to avoid Eubank's jab and unloading with winging power shots that connected behind a quick jab. In the third round, Benn landed a heavy left that left Eubank with no option but to clinch and recover.
