SEC schools were awarded eight of the 16 regional sites for the NCAA baseball tournament on Sunday, tying the record it set in 2023.

The champion of the SEC Baseball Tournament will be determined Sunday afternoon when the Ole Miss Rebels square off with the Vanderbilt Commodores.

No. 1 LSU (43-14) will sit back and await their NCAA Tournament fate across the next 24 hours with the program preparing for postseason baseball in Baton Rouge.

After another year of regular-season dominance on the diamond, the SEC leads all conferences with 8 of the 16 Regional hosts for the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The 16 Regional hosts were announced on Sunday evening. The reveal does include where the hosts are ranked among the 16 national seeds.

A handful of upsets have already occurred at the 2025 SEC baseball tournament. The eighth-seeded Tennessee Volunteers and seventh-seeded Ole Miss Rebels advanced to Saturday's semifinals with quarterfinal victories over the top two seeds. The LSU Tigers and the Vanderbilt Commodores are the only top-four seeds still alive in Hoover, Alabama.
