According to Senior ESPN NBA Insider Shams Charania, NHL Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon has agreed to buy the Portland Trail Blazers from the estate of Paul G. Allen for a valuation of over $4 billion.

Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon is branching out into NBA territory as he's part of a group buying the Portland Trail Blazers.

Paul Allen's trust announced in May that it was selling the team and estimated that the process would go into the 2025-26 season.

According to ESPN’s NBA insider Shams Charania, Dundon has agreed to buy the Trail Blazers from the estate of Paul G. Allen for a valuation of over $4 billion. The Trail Blazers’ valuation is listed at $3.65 billion according to CNBC’s latest Official NBA Team Valuations.
