Francisco Lindor notched the 20th multi-home run game of his career on Monday, helping the Mets hold off the Phillies with his explosive bat.

With two runners on and the Mets winning 2-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Lindor hit Ruiz’s second pitch, a heater right down the middle, 412 feet to dead center for a three-run home run. It was his second home run of the game, his 20th career multi-home run game, and his fifth home run of the season.

Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor homered twice, and finished with four RBIs, lifting first-place New York past its National League East rival, the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-4, in the opener of a marquee three-game series on Monday night at Citi Field.
