Malik Letroy Webb, the suspect in a Christmas Eve shooting in Oxford, was charged with a 19-count complaint, including felony murder on Saturday.

Crumbley asked Dec. 2 that a judge throw out her involuntary manslaughter conviction or give her a chance at a new trial.

After the shooting near Oxford High School, the suspect was quickly arrested. Sheriff Michael Bouchard called it "The worst nightmare on so many levels." The suspect, who used an illegal gun with an extended magazine and fired over thirty rounds, is expected to face "every possible charge," as stated by FOX 2 Detroit .

The suspect, 29, was recently released from prison years before his maximum sentence was over despite another weapons conviction while behind bars.

Records indicate that the man who authorities say opened fire on Christmas Eve, killing one and injuring two, was just discharged from prison in July.

There appears to be no connection between the shooter, the victim, or the location where it happened, sheriff Michael Bouchard told FOX 2 on Thursday. Instead, he called the random shooting an “incredibly violent rampage.
