The town will remember fallen Plainville firefighter Raymond Moreau during a ceremony Tuesday, officials said.

Raymond "Ray" Alan Moreau, 60, was working at the scene outside near a fire truck, when a piece of the truck broke off and hit him in the leg, state police said.

Funeral arrangements to honor fallen Plainville firefighter Raymond “Ray” Moreau, who died in the line of duty after responding to a house fire, have been announced. Moreau, 60, died in the line of duty on Sunday after being injured at the scene of a house fire on Maria Road.
