“Brand New Day” is based on the Spider-Man comic storyline of the same name. In the comic book story, Parker lands a deal with Mephisto to make the world forget he is Spider-Man and resurrect Aunt May. However, the spell essentially reboots his world and dissolves his marriage with MJ.

Tom Holland is returning as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, complete with a brand new suit with a larger spider logo and brighter shades of blue and red. Holland’s new Spider-Man suit was revealed in a teaser for the upcoming film on Sony Pictures International’s official YouTube channel on Aug 2.

Tom Holland spoke with Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards and he gushed about being an actor and his various roles. He also reveals the joke he always tells about “Spider-Man” and jokes that “no one ever laughs” at it.
