The first two games of the Stanley Cup Final have gone to overtime, only the sixth time in NHL history that’s happened and first since 2014.

In their Eastern Conference Second Round Series against Toronto this year, they lost the first two games and were in danger of dropping Game 3 until Marchand (yes, him again) scored the winner in overtime to give the Panthers a 5-4 win. Florida would go on to win the series in seven games.

The Panthers return from Edmonton after splitting the first two games of the Stanley Cup Final. The two teams have played more than eight periods of high-intensity, high-quality hockey.
