That's great for those who want more of a human connection but not so much if you’re more jazzed about Stitch wrecking a bunch of stuff.  The updated “Lilo” pulls back on the sci-fi action to focus instead on the emotional story of two orphaned human siblings,

One of the most popular characters in the Disney universe is back, as cute as ever. If only this 'Lilo & Stitch' live-action remake had more of a reason to exist.

For the most part, the new version sticks pretty closely to the 2002 animated film. The story centers on two sisters, Lilo and Nani, who are navigating life after the death of their parents. Nani, a teenager just about to head to college, struggles to hold down a job and watch out for her sister, who is a bit chaotic.

"It was my first trip to Disneyland and that's where we got the callback for the chemistry reads. And it actually snowed, like real snow, in Disneyland." Snow is rare in Anaheim, California.

Heartfelt and silly — but worked better in animated form.

An artist has embroidered a giant map of Hull featuring the city's people and places. Miranda van Rossum visited 100 groups and individuals over the last year to produce the Hull in Stitches artwork. It features a Hull Kingston Rovers rugby game, chip shops and BBC Radio Humberside presenter Kofi Smiles.
