Minnesota faith group says more than 100 clergy members were arrested at airport in anti-ICE protest
The group, which is an organization "calling for racial and economic justice in Minnesota," were part of a protest demanding airlines take a stand against federal immigration enforcement.
Police have arrested about 100 clergy who were demonstrating against immigration enforcement at Minnesota’s largest airport.
Minnesota is observing an economic blackout. Those protesting ICE are encouraged not to work, spend or study, and it has led to more than 600 local businesses announce they will close for the day – though once again Minnesota's biggest companies remain silent on the ongoing federal operation.
