A meeting has taken place between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the burial of Pope Francis at the Vatican. French President Emmanuel Macron and Britain's Prime Minister Keir Starmer also took part in the talks,

US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met in Vatican City on the sidelines of Pope Francis’s funeral.

All Ukrainian troops have been forced out of Russia's Kursk region and Kyiv's "adventure" in the region had ended, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed on Saturday. This came after White House confirmed that US President Donald Trump had a "private" meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Vatican where the two leaders went to attend the last rites of Pope Francis.
