Meta has stopped selling the Quest Pro, UploadVR spotted. The news comes just over two months since the company discontinued the high-end VR headset. Meta wrote then that it would keep selling the headset until year’s end or until it ran out of stock,

Meta has officially discontinued Quest Pro, the company’s first mixed reality headset. Meta announced back in September that it was winding down Quest 2 and Quest Pro sales. At the time, the company said remaining stock would be sold through the end of the year or until they ran out,

Meta wants you to buy the Quest 3 rather than the Quest Pro VR headset, which is now longer available to buy from its maker's store.

The good news is the highbrow IPs don't stop there. Alien: Rogue Incursion is set to arrive on Meta Quest headsets in February 2025, and while it may be on other VR platforms first, I'm all for playing a VR action-horror game without being tethered to a PC or console.

Meta is working to fix a faulty software update that bricked many Quest headsets. It has also offered to fix out-of-warranty headsets that were left unresponsive.

Quest Pro is no longer available for sale, as it redirects customers to the Meta Quest 3, available for $499.99. The decision was made over two months after the company dumped the premium virtual reality headset because it failed to gain traction,

The Meta Quest 3S is an excellent excuse to get a VR headset, or upgrade an existing one with all of the features on board.
