Some questions my nephew had watching Victor Wembanyama
Admittedly, I suggested this question. Officially, Galactus is 28-foot-9. The Marvel hero who comes closest to Wembanyama in height is Piotr Rasputin, aka Colossus, when he is in his armored form, but my nephew doesn’t know about the X-Men yet.
For much of the night, the Spurs’ young stars Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle went toe-to-toe with the Warriors’ veterans. Wembanyama turned in a dominant 31-point, 15-rebound, 10-assist performance — his first triple-double of the season — while Castle notched his first career triple-double with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
In the first quarter, Victor Wembanyama blocked Warriors star Draymond Green’s three-pointer from inside the paint.
Wembanyama’s blend of size and skills has made him a unique problem for the rest of the league to figure out. If there’s been a criticism of Wemby, it’s that he’s too thin to hold up to the physicality of the NBA.
