The latest installment of Yellowjackets season 3 finally reveals the fate of a certain character, resulting in one of the show's best episodes.

The man (Nelson Franklin) holds up his hand and says, “Hello.” The Yellowjackets’ faces are a mixture of joy and horror. Finally, there is some sign of civilization. But also, oh God, civilization arrived at the worst possible moment.

I was a little heartened by last week’s episode, but Episode 4 fell back into old, bad habits while simultaneously jumping the proverbial shark. Spoilers ahead.
