UConn Huskies basketball player Paige Bueckers is headed to the WNBA after being chosen by the Dallas Wings as the No. 1 pick in Monday night's draft, just over a week after leading her college team to victory in the 2025 March Madness tournament.

Wings general manager Curt Miller told 105.3 The Fan’s Kevin Hageland and Corey Mageors Friday on the K&C Masterpiece show that he has no intention of trading Paige Bueckers, whom Dallas selected No. 1 overall in Monday’s WNBA draft, within the next year.

The Dallas Wings knew they were drafting Paige Bueckers at No. 1 overall long before it became official on Monday at the 2025 WNBA Draft.
