The "Alien" franchise has gotten much bigger in the last decade, so here's what to know about when "Alien: Earth" takes place.

If you’re at Comic-Con, the Alien: Earth exhibition is on the Hilton Bayfront Lawn and is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the one experience and then 4:30 to 10 p.m. for the “Code Red” evening experience. The daytime experience will also be open Sunday from 11 a.m. to a.m.-3 p.m.

Alien: Earth, the FX series based on the classic 20 th Century Studios science fiction horror movies, saw its first episode play on a giant screen in front of over 6,500 fans ahead of the show's premiere on FX and Hulu on Aug. 12. It was an ear-splitting, body-shaking experience that showcased epic moments, intimate moments and icky moments.
