Gianluigi Donnarumma has enjoyed a world-class career since joining Paris Saint-Germain, but the French giants have moved swiftly this summer to distance themselves from the Italian goalkeeper, and a transfer feels imminent.

Indeed, Donnarumma's contract in Paris is due to expire next summer, and Luis Enrique side have brought in a new number one goalkeeper in the shape of Lucas Chevalier. In an emotional statement, Donnarumma said that "someone has decided that I can no longer be part of the group", with the Italian therefore seeking pastures new.

The red half of Manchester appear to be at the front of the queue to sign Donnarumma after Man City re-signed James Trafford from Burnley for £27m. Ruben Amorim is interested in signing a new goalkeeper to replace error-prone Andre Onana and Donnarumma has already given the green light to a move to Old Trafford.
