Nintendo has announced that it will end its Gold Points loyalty program on March 24, 2025. This decision marks the conclusion of a program that began in 2018, allowing customers to earn points by purchasing Nintendo Switch games.

Customers can continue earning Gold Points until March 24. Since these points are valid for 12 months from the date of being earned, they can be “used to get a discount on Nintendo eShop purchases until they expire, even after the distribution of Gold Points has ended,” Nintendo said.
