The Israeli military said it struck eight Iranian attack helicopters at a military base and 40 missile-infrastructure components in western Iran. It said its air force also hit a missile launcher overnight and continued to fly over Iran in search of more targets.

Experts say Iran has fired about 700 of its medium-range ballistic missiles, leaving it with anything between 300 to 1,300 left in its stockpile.
