The National Weather Service in Louisville said major impacts from the storm, which is expected to impact over 170 million Americans, are possible.
The Post assigned Cincinnati a subjective "winter storm-impact rating," which indicates the severity of the conditions expected from the storm, of 9 out of 10. The 12 cities were not ranked but instead listed roughly from west to east, which is the path of the storm. For the full list, see here.
