The Oregon Ducks are expected to land a transfer from Tulane RB Makhi Hughes to replace Jordan James after his NFL Draft declaration.

Kareem Hunt gave the Kansas City Chiefs serviceable running back play in Isiah Pacheco’s absence, but the team should consider adding a younger, more dynamic backup for next season. James had a career year in 2024, rushing for 1,267 yards and 15 touchdowns. In his career, James had 2,215 yards and 31 touchdowns for the Ducks, playing a major role in the offense from his very first year as the program.
