Manchester United and Newcastle transfer target Benjamin Sesko has not been included in RB Leipzig’s squad for Saturday’s friendly against Atalanta. The 22-year-old’s future is the subject of intense speculation with the Magpies having tabled a bid amid reports he has taken the decision to move to St James’ Park.

The bid is comprised of €75m up front with a further €5m in potential add-ons, and was tabled by Newcastle in the past 24 hours.

Newcastle have made an official bid to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko after boss Eddie Howe admitted the situation surrounding unsettled star Alexander Isak was “far from ideal”.
