Manchester City have completed the signing of Omar Marmoush from German side Eintracht Frankfurt. City have paid their Bundesliga counterparts a fee in the region of €70million (£59m) plus bonuses. The Egypt international has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at the Etihad Stadium through to June 2029.

Manchester City have welcomed Omar Marmoush to the city for a medical with the club on Tuesday, it can be revealed. The Premier League champions are understood to have reached a total agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for the transfer of their stand-out player of the ongoing season, in a clear sign of intent from City officials.

Omar Marmoush has outlined his qualities and named the five positions he is happy to play in for Manchester City after finalising his £59m move from Eintracht Frankfurt – and it seems Pep Guardiola is not done yet with signing No 4 and 5 still an option at the Etihad this month.
