The Auburn Tigers dropped an overtime game to the Alabama Crimson Tide, and head coach Bruce Pearl wasn't happy with how his star Johni Broome was treated.

They lost 93-91 in overtime to arch-rival Alabama, and they did so without starting guard Chad Baker-Mazara for the final 11 minutes of regulation plus overtime. Baker-Mazara was ejected for throwing an elbow to the back of the head of Alabama guard Chris Youngblood.

With his team trailing archrival No. 8 Alabama by five with 10:52 remaining, Tigers guard/forward Chad Baker-Mazara was hit with a flagrant 2 foul after thrusting his forearm into the back of the head of Crimson Tide guard Chris Youngblood while fighting for position for a potential rebound.
