After weeks of anticipation from rabid fans, the media, and the NFL, the Eagles are starting an urgent and exciting training camp, and we're highlighting six early position battles to watch.

POSITION BATTLE UPDATE — CORNERBACK: Whereas Kelee Ringo took the starting reps on Wednesday, Adoree’ Jackson was first up as the Eagles’ first-team right cornerback on Thursday. Ringo replaced Jackson with the starters in the second 11-on-11 series while the latter played left cornerback with the second-team defense.

The Eagles lost five defensive starters, two defensive backups and one offensive starter from last year’s Super Bowl team, and how they go about replacing those positions is one of the top things to monitor this summer.
