The Notre Dame football team has several players hoping to make the NFL, and this week eight of them were selected to participate in the upcoming NFL Combine. The list of eight names includes three players on offense and five players on defense: The annual combine will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from Feb.

Jordan Clark couldn't have done much more for Notre Dame's stellar defense in 2024, but he didn't get an NFL Combine invitation.

It feels like just a few days ago Notre Dame was playing in the National Championship down in Atlanta, Georgia. Fact of the matter, that game was almost a month ago and it's not 14 days until the NFL combine down in Indianapolis.

There will be a Pro Day as well, but before that, more than a few Notre Dame stars will be the chance to impress NFL front offices in Indianapolis for the annual combine. The full list of players participating was released on Thursday, with a total of eight member for the Irish team getting a chance to workout in front of scouts.

The Lions are dealing with another departure. Their director of scouting advancement is heading to South Bend to be Notre Dame's general manager.
