Severe geomagnetic storm could make northern lights visible across much of U.S., forecasters say
A severe geomagnetic storm watch was issued by NOAA on Tuesday in response to recent coronal mass ejections from the sun.
Part of Idaho might be able to see the northern lights tonight (Thursday, Nov. 6).
NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center's view line shows these 21 states could see the glowing phenomenon in the sky.
