Novak Djokovic's disappointing run at the 2024 Madrid Open has sparked fresh speculation about his future on the ATP Tour. Following a surprise defeat to Italy’s Matteo Arnaldi, Djokovic openly reflected on his uncertain path ahead, hinting that this might have been his final appearance at the Madrid event.

Novak Djokovic has had a lengthy career of dominance. He's won every significant title and has the most Grand Slams of all time.  But nothing lasts forever.  The Serbian suffered a 6-3, 6-4 loss to Matteo Arnaldi at the Madrid Open on Saturday.

Novak Djokovic will not chase his fourth Madrid Masters title. The veteran experienced an early loss in Caja Magica, failing to pass the first hurdle at three of the opening four Masters 1000 events of the season.
