Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin shared a brief, light-hearted moment in the locker room after Game 3. Just a pair of 30-somethings for the Dallas Stars chuckling over the fact that both scored in a 2-1 overtime win.

It also felt like some sort of tribute to General Manager Jim Nill, by way of throwback to 2013. The only goals scored in the Stars’ 2-1 victory over the Avalanche in a game the Stars never led until it was over came from Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn and Val Nichushkin.

Tyler Seguin scored at 5:31 of overtime after the Stars killed a late double-minor penalty, and Dallas beat Colorado 2-1 in Game 3 Wednesday night in a contest that featured the return of Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog.
