Marvel ‘s Fantastic Four are taking big first steps at the box office, earning a mighty $24.4 million in previews. The haul is the best preview result of the year so far, beating the previous high of $22.5 million set by “Superman” earlier this month.

DC's "Superman" previously held the record for highest box office sales in Thursday night previews for 2025, with $22.5 million. Now, Marvel is reporting "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" sped past that figure, earning $24.4 million in Thursday previews.

The acclaimed movie scored the top preview of the year to date and the best since fellow Marvel superhero pic 'Deadpool & Wolverine' exactly a year ago.
