Shares of Critical Metals climbed after the company said it received a letter of interest from the Export-Import Bank of the U.S. for up to $120 million in funding. The stock rose 19%, to $2.41, in pre-market trading Monday. Despite surging 40% in the past month, shares have lost more than 80% of their value in the past year.

The project would have to be “well-capitalized with sufficient equity from strategic investors” to receive the loan, the letter said.
