The Patriots got a bit of a break Friday on the third day of training camp, but things are about to ramp up in Foxboro.

The 26-year-old Jones signed a 4-year, $5.1 million contract with the Patriots after being selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He was a first-team All-Pro selection as a punt returner as a rookie and remains a dangerous weapon in the kick return game.

The New England Patriots now have two training camp practices in the books, and the second-year wide receiver has been missing in action for both sessions, further creating an uphill climb for the 2024 second-round pick to make the opening 53-man roster.
