Officers responded to the area of 224 S. Marshall St. after receiving a ShotSpotter notification at 12:43 p.m. and found a gunshot victim as they were canvassing the area, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.

A man is dead after a police shooting at a motel in Woodland Hills Sunday night. Around 10:15 p.m. Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to calls of a man with a gun at a motel in the 21700 block of Ventura Boulevard. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man armed with a gun.

Police responded to sounds of gunfire near Broadway and East Pike Street in Seattle shortly before 3 a.m. where they found the man with multiple gunshot wounds.

The suspect, who was already wanted on drug, assault, and drunken driving charges, is to spend his New Year's Eve in jail.

The boy is facing charges of armed assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and multiple firearms offenses, including carrying a loaded firearm without a license, Worcester police said in a statement.
