A member of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team confirmed that they had indeed reached out to President Donald Trump for a potential pardon. Speaking with CNN correspondent Elizabeth Wagmeister in an interview shared on Tuesday (Aug. 5), attorney Nicole Westmoreland revealed that the request had officially been made.

Nicole Westmoreland, a member of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ all-star defense team, told CNN in an exclusive interview on Tuesday that the music mogul’s team has reached out to the Trump administration about a potential pardon following his conviction on two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution last month.

Trump has said Combs’ “hostility” toward him during the 2024 election makes pardoning the rapper “more difficult to do.”
