Reigning world 100-meter sprint champion Sha’Carri Richardson was arrested last weekend for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. According to a police report obtained by The Associated Press,

Authorities said Richardson, 27, was taken into custody after allegedly shoving Coleman and throwing a pair of headphones at him. The 24-year-old athlete was booked on a fourth-degree domestic violence charge and spent 19 hours in custody at the South Correctional Entity facility in Des Moines, Washington. The case has since been cleared.
