Vanderbilt coach Clark Lea has agreed to a new, six-year contract with the Commodores, CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz confirmed.
Clark Lea has led Vanderbilt to one of its best seasons in program history, a significant achievement for a school that never had a 10-win season.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel is reporting that Lea has agreed to a new six-year deal that will keep in Nashville. The new deal is said to include “numerous assets to continue the program’s upward trend,” which includes resources for staff and facilities, as well as a significant salary increase.
Clark Lea has Vanderbilt in the midst of perhaps its greatest season ever, and he has signed a six-year extension amid carousel interest.
