Seattle is wafer-thin at wide receiver, safety and linebacker for its NFC West game Sunday vs. Arizona, because of injuries.
Wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who did not practice on Wednesday, was upgraded to limited. Rookie wide receiver Tory Horton had a shin injury added to his report and did not practice after being listed as a full participant on Wednesday. The full details of their second injury report of the week are below. Starters are noted with an asterisk.
The Seattle Seahawks made a bold move prior to Tuesday's NFL trade deadline, acquiring wide receiver Rashid Shaheed from the New Orleans Saints. GM John Schneider sent fourth-and-sixth-round picks in the 2026 NFL draft to New Orleans. The decision to acquire Shaheed may be reflective of the remaining faith in Cooper Kupp.
The Seattle Seahawks opened their practice week Wednesday with only a walkthrough in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Their first injury report is an estimate of what the status would have been if there were a regular practice. The Cardinals also had a walkthrough on Wednesday.
The Seahawks added Rashid Shaheed to the offense this week, but they still have injury issues elsewhere in the wide receiver corps.
The Triple Crown winner and Super Bowl LVI MVP is set to make his return to SoFi Stadium in under two weeks when Kupp's Seahawks take their annual trip to Los Angeles. With his return imminent, McVay was asked about Kupp and what he has meant to him.
Kupp (hamstring/heel) was a non-participant at Wednesday's walkthrough, John Boyle of the Seahawks ' official site reports.
Both Cooper Kupp (hamstring) and tight end AJ Barner (calf) were upgraded from limited to full participants on Friday's practice report and are questionable for Sunday.
They can fill in to win you the week in a whim. An injury? A bye week? There are always opportunities for obscure success in Fantasy Football. No week goes by where an unexpected player pops for a big performance.
