New York City Mayor Eric Adams talks about being a Democrat in the past tense in a preview clip for an interview with Tucker Carlson that will be posted in full Tuesday night.

Mayor Eric Adams said the Democratic Party has abandoned him – and everyday New Yorkers. “People often say, ‘Well, you know, you don’t sound like a Democrat and you seem to have left the party,’” Adams told host Tucker Carlson during an interview due to air Tuesday night.

In a talk with Tucker Carlson, whom he once criticized, Adams claimed the Democratic party left him because of his immigration views.
