Rain chances ramp up this weekend

FIRST ALERT: Widespread heavy rain to finish the week
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Queue the sad country/emo/blues/lo-fi or whatever you listen to on gray days: We have a whole week full of them coming our way, that may eventually pay off with some good, heavy rain around Thursday.
Multiple rounds of heavy rain are coming to Houston this week. Here's when.
The first round of rain will arrive Sunday, bringing over an inch of rain for many. Even heavier rainfall is expected by week's end.

However, as we track through the beginning portions of next week, we're tracking only modest 20% rain chacnes for Monday and Tuesday with highs slowly increasing each day. The best rain chances don't come until Thursday and Friday.

Flooding possible over weekend with heavy rain and strong winds forecast
Heavy rain and strong winds could bring flooding and travel disruption to parts of the UK this weekend after the severe effects of Storm Eowyn. Up to 80mm of rainfall could be seen in parts of England and Wales with several amber and yellow weather warnings issued by the Met Office over Saturday and Sunday.

By the end of the weekend and into the start of next week, an area of low pressure is expected to dive south bringing in rain chances and chillier temperatures to the Desert Southwest.
