Donald Trump’s lawyers and the Manhattan district attorney’s office have agreed to delay activity in the hush money case until November 19 to give the president-elect’s lawyers time to make new arguments on how his election victory impacts the case.

The decision Merchan was expected to hand down Tuesday was on Trump's motion to overturn the conviction and dismiss the indictment on the grounds the case included some evidence that prosecutors should not have been able to use under the Supreme Court's ruling on presidential immunity.
